RyanCassidy.com analyzes our website logs to constantly improve the value of the materials available on our website. Our website logs are not personally identifiable, and we make no attempt to link them with the individuals that actually browse the site.
RyanCassidy.com maintains a free e-mail list. Individuals must affirmatively ask to join our mailing list by contacting us. We do not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease the addresses on our list to anyone. In addition, we maintain our list inhouse and refuse to divulge the e-mail addresses of our list subscribers to anyone but authorized RyanCassidy.com staff, including other list subscribers. Both the list and board are remotely stored through other companies and we are unable to control any advertising they might send. They do have opt out clauses on their parent sites.
We do try to screen sites linking from our site but cannot control the content or privacy policies of these sites.
Ryan has generously and graciously allowed me to share part of his life with website visitors. He is, however, still a private person and that should always be respected. This site has a zero-tolerance policy when it comes to violating Ryan’s privacy. He genuinely appreciates fans and loves to meet them at events and such. There is nothing wrong with approaching him in this context. In fact, in most situations, he welcomes it. He will sign an autograph, pose for a picture and chat if time permits.
We provide an email address (ryan@ryancassidy.com) for fans to contact him. There is also an email form. He does receive these emails! We will answer questions as quickly as we can. Sometimes he will have me respond for him but at other times, yes, he does reply on his own. It depends on the issue and his availability.
However, a line must be drawn between the public and the private and it must never be crossed. Tracking down his private residence or phone number, calling or mailing him without his permission with this information or emailing him at his private email address are never acceptable. We do print recent projects from time to time. Please do not track down his worksite, especially if he wis working behind the scenes. He has a job to do and a specific timeframe to complete it.
