In February 2005, Ryan, along with his partner Joanne Baker, designed the sets for a production of Dangerous Laiasons at The Blank Theater. Their work earned praise from Variety reviewer Joel Hirschhorn who said, "Set design by Joanne Baker and Ryan Cassidy is notable for its opulent detail." The Los Angeles Times also praised their work. This was the second play Ryan had designed for and photos from the production are displayed here.
